Anyone else have this problem?

I've noticed that whenever I play online, there's a small delay between when I press a button to what happens on screen. It's not really noticeable if you're not paying attention, but it's kind of bothersome with a game like this (aka I've been hit by a few attacks that I should've dodged).

The weird thing is, it only happens during the match. Not on the menu, not offline, not even on the practice screen before the match.

I was using a Wavebird at the time. I switched to the Classic controller and the delay is still there.

Anyone have this problem or know anything to fix it.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks again.

I assume it's probably just general lag between you and your internet connection. If your using wireless internet, that could be th problem, but idk. I'll see if that same thing happens to me when I get Brawl this Friday.

The problem is you're playing with somebody more than halfway across the country. The solution, stick to people within a 1000 mile radius of where you live, if not closer.

Really? Cause the person I'm playing against doesn't have this problem.

Besides, most of my friends ARE on the other side of the country (since I moved away to college and all). The people who live closer I can just go to their house instead of going online. And IIRC the whole point of online is to be able to play with people you can't visit yourself. Kinda messed up on NOA's part if they can't even allow cross country online matches without problems.

EDIT: Actually, Link ended up being right. It was my connection. I have a better connection at UConn, and I played my friend form Florida again. The controls worked out fine, without the delay.

Thanks for the help, guys.
